Before God began His creation, there was absolutely nothing. It's hard to imagine

nothing but God created everything we see from nothing! Nothing existed. Nothing at all. Except, of course, God. He has always existed. (Isaiah 57:15).

Let's look at 7 Days The Story of Gods Creation........

Day 4 - The Sun, The Moon and Stars

‘Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. And God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made the stars also. And God placed them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day’ (Genesis 1:14-19).

The Sun and Moon

On the fourth day of Creation, God created the sun and the moon. The Bible tells

us their purpose was to give light on the earth, with the sun to light up the day, and the moon to light up the night (Jeremiah 31:35). They were also to be signs to mark seasons, days and years (Psalm 104:19). Did you know that you don’t need a clock to tell what time it is? We can use the sun, and the moon determines our months while years are determined by earth’s revolution around the sun.

The Sun, is at the heart of our solar system, a yellow dwarf star, a hot ball of glowing gases. Its gravity holds the solar system together, keeping everything from the biggest planets to the smallest particles of debris in its orbit.

He Made The Stars Also

The stars also change depending on the season, and we can use them to determine directions. Ancient sailors, explorers, and travellers used the stars to help them reach their destination, and we can still do that today.

In the nativity story of the Gospel of Matthew, the "wise men from the East" (Magi) are guided by a star that helps them find the baby Jesus (Matthew 2:1-6).
